Teeth Whitening

If you are self-conscious about the shade of your teeth or if you have staining on some of your teeth, professional teeth whitening treatment is a safe and recommended option for you to consider.

  1. You will be assessed for the type of staining your teeth have.
     

  2. A custom tray is made to fit snugly over your teeth.
     

  3. The teeth whitening process is activated by a bleaching agent, which is inserted into the custom tray that transfers it onto your teeth.
     

Home teeth whitening kits are also available to lighten the teeth more gradually. In this case, the trays with bleaching agent can be worn overnight. With all whitening treatment, individual results will vary and are dependant on your initial tooth colour and the nature of your tooth staining.

The simplest tooth brightening procedure is our AquaPolish cleaning treatment. This air polishing system can be used as an add-on to your regular hygiene treatments, or as a stand-alone stain removal procedure that provides an enhanced stain removal and tooth polishing clean.
 

If you’re looking for a simple, easy-to-use, basic whitening treatment, we recommend Oral B white strips. These strips are worn for just 60 minutes each day and provide gentle, enamel-safe tooth whitening. This treatment is best suited to those who are just looking for a whitening boost.

For a longer-lasting more dramatic tooth whitening treatment, we recommend custom-made home whitening trays and Boutique Whitening. This type of procedure is effective and puts patients in control over how white their teeth become and how often they are whitened.

From an impression taken of a patient’s teeth, customized whitening trays are made that fit securely around teeth and will not leak solution into the mouth.

Professional Teeth Whitening Treatments

Our professional dental tooth whitening solutions can transform the appearance of your teeth in a dynamic way. Professional grade whitening gel can whiten teeth by eight shades or more vs. around two shades with non-dental solutions.

​

This is an ideal way for patients to whiten teeth because once the trays are created, they can be used at any time. Patients are provided with a 10% or 16% carbamide peroxide whitening solution to use at home, and the trays need to be worn for a couple of hours every night for a week or more.

​

Once teeth have reached the perfect shade of white, the treatment can be stopped. This portable solution can be taken anywhere, making it possible for people to continue whitening teeth whilst on holiday, business trips or whenever they want a whitening boost.
